Piece by Piece Artwork Goes Swimmingly into New Apartment Complex in Long Beach

Piece by Piece had the good fortune recently to work with architect Hai Lin to create a unique piece of artwork for the spa and pool area of 200 Ocean Apartments in Long Beach. Mr. Lin wanted to add some color to the space, which is primarily neutral tones.

Mr. Lin found Piece by Piece by searching for mosaic artwork online. He was impressed with the scale and quality of work our artists create. In fact, he joined our artists for a work session in the studio to participate.

During the design process, we worked closely with Mr. Lin to make his vision of a colorful and vibrant artwork a reality. Using a variety of brightly-colored repurposed ceramic and glass, our team created a series of organic shapes based on his concept.

Our team worked with installer Juan Varela to install the mosaic as well as tile the entire back wall, which is behind the jacuzzi. We are grateful to work with Mr. Lin  and bring art to this lovely open space.
