Piece by Piece is excited to welcome its third AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer for this fiscal year, John Montgomery. He has previously served in AmeriCorps for two years, working closely with diverse communities to foster growth and engagement.

This partnership beautifully highlights the shared values between the Piece by Piece artists and Boomtown – a love of creation, a desire to push the limits, and the pure joy of making something beautiful from raw materials.

The retreat provided an invaluable opportunity for board members to reconnect with the organization’s mission, reflect on past achievements, and brainstorm ideas for the future.

Piece by Piece has been selected as a placement location for Loyola Marymount University's Art Therapy internship program. This has brought Chloé, an Art Therapy intern, to work with the Piece by Piece artists from January through May of this year.
