As Piece by Piece Reopens to In-Person Workshops, We Welcome New Participants

After two years of virtual workshops, we are welcoming new participants into our new space. With COVID protocols in place including masking, social distancing, and proof of vaccination or testing, we have our Beginning Mosaic workshops in session, led by artist instructor Bea Jones.

Each new artist starts with a small project and individual instruction on tool use, materials options, and basic placement techniques.

Cutting techniques is one of the first things new artists learn. Here, instructor Bea Jones is working with new artist on use of tools and placement.

The workshop is full of good energy in a supportive environment. A second session for each participant is grouting their first piece. Here are a few photos of some of our newer artists with their first finished pieces.

As our participation begins to rebuild, we are ready to meet each individual where they are and help them develop the skills to create mosaic and the support to be their best creative selves.

If you or someone you know would like to participate, please email info@piecebypiece.org to sign up or to learn more.
