As the founder of Piece by Piece, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of art and community firsthand. Over the years, this organization has grown into a vibrant force for change, offering individuals not only creative opportunities but also hope and healing.

Jamie and Michelle recently contributed to the needs of our community through volunteering at the Piece by Piece studio. Their efforts supported holiday inventory needs, cutting the materials necessary for producing new art in a box kits. 

Piece by Piece is excited to welcome Marieme Drame and Amir Abdolvahabi, two AmeriCorps volunteers in the VISTA program. Functioning in B2B marketing and volunteer coordinating respectively. 

I truly cherish this amazing opportunity to gain skills and experience in mosaic arts— a medium I’ve always admired but never previously explored. I’m using my background in graphic arts to help support and encourage others while challenging my own creativity in new and exciting ways. 

We are incredibly grateful to have Virginia and Donna volunteer their time and expertise to guide our strategic vision, ensuring that Piece by Piece not only has the resources to flourish but also continues to be a place of healing, hope, support, and positive change in the community.

When asked about her favorite activities while volunteering at Piece by Piece, Ally enthusiastically shared her joy in handling the finished artwork created by the talented artists at the studio. She finds herself captivated by the varying sizes and intricacies of the pieces, often taking a moment to admire their beauty.
